Pros
*generally a cool industry - you get to travel and meet incredibly interesting people *great colleagues *work life balance *great experience for younger sales people as you get to own a large book of business
Cons
*the entire office energy is based on the moods of the CEO/COO, who are generally, insufferable to be around and incredibly incompetent and unsupportive *no proper support for entry- sales positions; no real sales manager who’s job is dedicated to help them succeed - makes the job incredibly isolating and stressful *varying WFH policies for all different people - imbalanced for in-office versus remote workforce *lots of discourse and fighting among sales team members over accounts, with lack of a proper mediator / problem solver. Makes for a very juvenile sales environment *outdated technology *no culture - barely any collaboration or help, especially from senior team members *inconsistent benchmarks and KPIs *leadership overall ruins the company *NO HR
