Inconsistent work flow, internal flow issues coupled with industry orders decreasing

Zach and Shaun the owners of Lean Machine have always been very progressive and open to input from their employees and are always looking to improve the workplace experience and processes. In my 8 years with the company I have been encouraged to take control of my own workspace and processes and improve them as I see fit. We've gone from a company that used paper for every process to having very little paper handling and almost everything done with computers/touch pads in every aspect from incoming POs to producing the parts on the shop floor and invoicing/shipping them out. I started as the office Administrative Assistant doing everything from Accounts Payable/Receivables, processing incoming POs, creating work orders, invoicing and purchasing. I then moved into the Engineering Department working in CAD doing scheduling, nesting sheet metal parts and parts design. They have excellent benefits including vision, dental, medical, short-term and long-term disability and have just implemented a Pension Plan/Profit Sharing plan. I'm very excited to see where the future takes us.
