Pros
CEO has great vision for the future of the company.
Cons
Upper managment has no clue how the production aspect of their own company actually runs. They have ridiculous expectations compared to the personnel available, not to mention the lack of formal training many have as well as few qualified people to even operate the machines. Turnover rate is crazy high, which managment tries to fix by bringing massive amounts of temporary employees in to cover the gaps and then they dont train them. Operators of machinery are grossly undercompensated for industry standards and are sometimes asked to run multiple machines at a time. Any competent machine operator at this place usually leaves for a similar position at another company. This also applies to many of the other departments as well. The quality department is all but gone. The president of the company arranged the reporting structure so that the quality department "indirectly" reports to production managment, and the quality department is constantly reminded of this. As a result the quality department is extremely disrespected by other departments and upper managment, to the point that it seems managment feels the whole department is a hinderance to the company. Any areas designated for the quality department are/are being replaced by production areas. There is no quality office, lab, etc. There is very little support from quality upper managment, and all attention is paid to production numbers and sales figures. Nepotism in the front office is very high and not related to job qualifications. And finally, there have been multiple instances of illegal drugs being found on company property. Would not be surprised if this company was gone in the next 5 years.
