Pros
I met some great people and some great talent at LegalZoom. There was a strong company culture and lots of gatherings after work hours. Had a chance to work on some important projects and work with different technologies. There were always new projects in the works giving opportunities to grow as an engineer.
Cons
Most of the great people I worked with ended up moving on before I had finished my first year there due to the management. There was also seemingly as much management as people to manage. The lack of talent coming in, people leaving the company, and the game of thrones style upper management politics ultimately contributed to moving on myself. I think things have changed now with the new CEO which is why I am writing this review. LZ was once a place I enjoyed working and hopefully that culture can return.
