There weren't really any pros after being there more than a couple months.
Cons
Legend Web Solutions and Opteweb (Opt-e-web) are the same company and everything is very intertwined and convoluted.
You will be responsible for running the business because the owner is pre-occupied with doing other work for another company. This includes:
meeting clients, selling services, sending proposals and contracts, invoicing, keeping clients on track, delegating work to outsourced workers, designing logos, identities, and websites, developing websites, QA and testing.
- Logos should be made in 10 minutes because you can "just buy clipart."
- Websites have to be designed/built in under 14 hours regardless of size/requirements.
- You are expected to work as if you're making $100/hr
- Owner doesn't understand the point in keeping SEO intact for companies whose sites you are updating, so you actually will hurt some of the clients web presence.
- Sells clients on a copywriter even though we never had one, then I had to deal with it
- no benefits package
- failed to pay me my final paycheck
- never provided paystubs
- constantly told by the owner he couldn't afford to pay me
