Pros

I started my career at LEVEL5, and it was an amazing place to jump start my success. Not only is the culture incredibly transparent, inclusive and fun, but I was exposed to a broad range of industries and experiences through the clients I worked with. The foundational elements of brand strategy I learned and the exposure to c-suite executive client teams put me head and shoulders above my peers when I moved to my next job and beyond. After my years at LEVEL5, I found I had developed a unique instinct for big picture, strategic thinking that was a recognized advantage for me. I am grateful for the training I got at the outset of my career there, for the encouragement and support from the senior partners, and will always think of LEVEL5 as a place I loved to work.

Cons

While I was there some time ago, it was tricky to move up into mid-level management. Not sure if the structure of roles has changed since then.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to hear that you had a positive and valuable experience at LEVEL5. We recognise that professional development and growth of our employees is very important. We have recently updated our competency model which shows how progression can be made towards all positions in the business. On top of this we provide internal training on a diverse range of topics. As a result we have increased our number of internal promotions, in the last 12 months 6 employees have moved into new positions which we are very proud of and will look to continue.

Pros

- After working with a few different professional services firms it's hard to find one with such a well rounded culture - Super smart people who are engaged in your development - Interesting projects that are cross-industry which gives great exposure - Clients are typically executives which gives exposure to building a very experienced network

Cons

- Pace of work is fast and you have to juggle a lot of priorities, this is more a reflection on the consulting industry than it is for Level5 specifically

Pros

The ability to wear so many different hats and learn so many parts of the business has been an incredible experience from both a personal and professional level. Being able to support the managing partners and consultants is a tough but very rewarding "job". The people and culture are simply amazing. Everyone including managing partners are approachable and friendly. I consider these people friends as not just colleagues. There's a lot of opportunity for growth and a career path set for consultants which was introduced about a year before I left. I truly value everything I've learned in what I consider a short time/number of years. I'm very thankful for all the opportunities and potential that I didn't see in myself. I take great pride to have worked with such an amazing company and group of people and will continue to speak highly of my time here.

Cons

Not necessarily a con but the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than master of one" is what I relate to and I think many others would experience. Some may see it as a negative aspect if broader knowledge is not the work experience they're looking for.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We appreciate your positive words about the people and culture of our firm; it’s something we are proud to uphold and maintain after 14+ years! We believe it’s important for us to provide opportunities that allow our employees to grow professionally, which can come from the diversity and range of tasks/assignments, and from whom you are learning, whether it be directly with a peer or a Managing Partner. We do make an effort to those that want to specialize in a particular industry by staffing them on clients that fit their interests – provided it doesn’t disrupt current client relationships.
