Pros
Can wear whatever you want, they bring in food here and there, crappy gym room, and small spattering of actual good hearted people.
Cons
I have a strong background in sales that I wanted to move away from. I was clear about this throughout the interview process and ultimately took this position because it was not sales but customer relationship oriented. After one week of grueling self taught training about the spine and corresponding medical terms (not much direction and barely saw management) they had a meeting to discuss a “new business initiative”. They basically wanted to turn the position into an outbound business development role aka cold calling (no change in title, no add in pay but a max $5k bonus if you reached revenue goals- $5million a year- a complete joke!) I feel so bad for those still working there and what they are in for. The verbiage used telling how to call out and handle rejections was so elementary it was concerning they really had no direction or knew what real sales is all about. They were very concerned with “compliance” and honestly I’m convinced something shady is going on there. Anyway, after the meeting I expressed my concerns that they were turning me back to sales and then two hours later I was fired for “not being on board” with their initiative. I was there one week and they pulled a complete bait and switch. They try to make it seem it’s great because they bring in free food but don’t be fooled they don’t care about you. Many friends and family members work there together and if you aren’t “in” you are definitely out! Just poor business practices and lying to get you in and use you for less than acceptable pay.
