      Pros

      Small group, good communication among scientists and research associates

      Cons

      Lack of principle in upper management. No town hall, no employee appraisals. No work life balance. Recurring and mandatory meetings for all employees well beyond 5PM.

      Pros

      Friendly upper management. Co-founder eats lunch with you and invites you to their home.

      Cons

      Mentality is still stuck in academia in some ways. Some equipment leftover from the Univesity lab. Weekly meetings with people in China with very broken English. Some projects go round in circles without clear runway to market or to consumers. Management shows subconscious favoritism for old colleagues instead of valuing everyone's input.
