Pros

As an employee at LifeStraw, I've had the privilege of being part of something truly remarkable. This company isn't just about the bottom line; it's about making a meaningful impact in the world, and that ethos permeates every aspect of our work culture. I am continually impressed with the passion and dedication of the leadership here, striving for excellence and expecting nothing less. It's the sense of purpose that infuses every project, initiative, or ask. The shared goal of truly showing care and compassion to other people is what drives me to want to excel.

Cons

This is a company of people, and none of us are perfect. There are opportunities for people to focus more on their own ethos instead of others. There are opportunities for people to leverage obstacles as learning experiences instead of platforms for criticism.

Pros

Culture and benefits; collaboration; positive impact work. Approachable leaders. Good opportunity for self-starters.

Cons

Can be intense; but not unusual for growing company.

Pros

The mission is great and your work does matter. Non-leadership team members are great to be around.

Cons

A lot of turnovers for such a small US team. Not much diversity outside of the international offices. Leadership Team- They do not lead. There are no solid plans, and the plans they do have seem scattered and last minute. Some "leaders" do not have much experience outside of LifeStraw and are not good at managing people. They will throw their team under the bus to save face with the CEO. Leadership will claim this is a flat organization and is open to feedback but will not be receptive to suggestions, criticism, or questions. The CEO is also the most inappropriate person I have met professionally and if a man did half of what she does it would probably be on the news.
