Pros
There are many great things about this job, and the people here are amazing. Instead of listing all the “pros,” I’ll just explain everything.
The first couple weeks were very hard, but once I got used to the process—particularly the trays—it became rewarding. Every job has its ups and downs, so to speak. And here, there’s definitely that. But overall I’m very pleased how management genuinely cares about their employees. Sure, a lot of stress can be a pain. But I’m glad I’m sticking with it now.
My team and I are becoming better every work day, and I’m planning on staying; especially after this holiday. I’ve never worked a job that rewards employees around the holiday season.
Overall…I’m very content here.
They’re always hiring, it’s a stable occupation. But this role is hard and not everyday is going to be good. That’s with every job. I like challenges, so if you’re like that in anyway—or good work ethic—you might fit well here.
Cons
—You will be tired at first, but you will get used to it.
—There’s a difficult learning curve, largely due to understaffing rather than management.
—Limited space in the work environment—neither good nor bad, though additional vacancies would help.
