Pros
You can wear comfortable clothes and there’s a nice spot to sit outside. It’s hybrid too
Cons
Genuinely insane I could go all day. Despite being a salaried job you have to log all of your time using timers to the minute. PER PROJECT. Stressful and insanely inefficient, (seriously idk how they don’t realize how much time is lost switching over timers) and you will be assessed over how long you are taking to do things, for writing this is just painful. Literally had our boss sit us down and go: we know it takes 11 hours to do this work that you have a DAILY deadline for but you’re salaried so deal with it. Just openly admitting that your workers work 50 plus hours is not a good look. All this and more for $23an hour. (Or really $18 if you are working over time, which everyone is :) ) This is double insane when you know how much they are making on your work. Charging clients $500 per hour while u get $23. Say they have a 4o1k but was never enrolled. Expensive and bad benefits. You will only make friends in collective suffering and will never have a chance to have a chummy lunch (too many deadlines). People are constantly dropping like flies. (Genuinely lost like 10 people within a month once, one girl left after her first day) if you last a year you are the most senior person in your department. Seriously. They say you’ll learn so many new things but that really means you’ll get a bunch of responsibilities and have to teach yourself stuff. I genuinely have no idea how they have so many positive reviews other than they know the importance of good marketing. (And they probably harass their employees to write good reviews. Check the dates of the ones on here, most drop at similar times). Most stressful job of my life and for what? 45k? I make the same now w 4 times the vacation days and cheap health insurance. You’re not a “family” and genuinely I don’t know how this company has lasted as long as it has. Why would anyone go to workaholic lengths for not workaholic pay.
