Pros
The regular people who work there are great. Pretty much everyone is amiable, intelligent, and easy to get along with. This could be a good place for students, interns, or entry-level people to get some short-term experience as there are some brilliant people doing great work every day.
Cons
Vison of management is completely disconnected from the reality of the employees. They don't even pretend to care what ideas or advice employees doing all the work might have. There are company townhalls but they turn into sessions of them passively aggressive putting down the concerns or ideas of any employees who have the courage to speak up. Teams are siloed off from each other and efforts to work across them are met with tribalism and CYA behavior as people are afraid of the wraith of upper management feeling like their toes are getting stepped on if they do anything without approval from them. Work-life balance can be difficult to non-existent depending on your department. The company is drowning in technical debt and everything keeps running due to the heroic efforts of a few overworked Ops, IT, and engineering people. Instead of invest in their tech and systems, they seem to be squeezing analysts, product, and marketing people to come up with ways to repackage/rebrand existing products. It always felt like upper management wasn't concerned with the long-term health or stability of the company and just myopically trying to hit quarterly goals. This is not a company I would recommend to anyone looking for stability and a decent work-life balance.
