Fired for no reason - Anonymous employee Little English Employee Review

Working at BISBY has been an incredible experience, both professionally and personally. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a team of strong, intelligent women who constantly inspire me to push the boundaries of my abilities. The supportive environment at BISBY allowed me to grow in my role as an Assistant Brand Coordinator, gaining invaluable experience that has built my confidence and skill set. The leadership here is patient, kind, and always willing to mentor, making it a place where growth is encouraged and nurtured.

For introverted individuals, it can be challenging at times to adapt to the highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. However, the team is very understanding and supportive, which helps ease the transition.

Absolutely nothing, this job was a nightmare

There are so many cons. The main one being that they lied under oath to unemployment. Stating that I had quit my job (making ineligible for unemployment benefits). When in reality they fired me for and I quote “using my PTO”. Unfair pay, poor communication, management plays favoritism towards employees with rich and influential families. Very classist. CEO/COO are incredibly out of touch with the struggles of middle class America. CEO is often not in the office. Instead she spends her time at the local hunt club. COO consistently came to work 11am-3pm when the rest of the employees are expected to be there 9-5. You will work overtime and weekends without being compensated because their employees are all salaried. I was the photoshoot director and a marketing coordinator but was only compensated for one position. There is no HR to make complaints to. I would give this company zero stars if I could.
