Pros
Lots of great people, and some good product ideas that can help a lot of older people.
Cons
Big promises about bonuses, share allocations and long-term career opportunities but in reality, unfortunately, there is a lot of staff turnover and people are discarded at the first opportunity. I was convinced to join LiveMore by the company values, such as 'better together' – but actually I found there was a toxic culture and atmosphere. Constant communication about sales targets which were not being met and that people should just work harder. The constant staff turnover and strategy changes made it feel impossible. The senior team would openly insult junior staff about their work, who would be left in tears. My worst memory in the office was watching a senior member of staff belittle and insult the sales team for a prolonged period while the office was silent – it was a truly horrible experience. Who wants to work in that kind of environment? Inevitably, I was let go with no warning and no opportunity to say bye to colleagues. There are lots of lovely people at LiveMore who reached out to say thanks and bye, it was unfortunate that nobody in the senior team did so.
