Pros
The founders and management team seem to really care and are respectful, even giving special benefits during really stressful times. They are also quite transparent compared to other places I’ve worked. It is a remote-friendly company, even before the pandemic. The staff is really friendly and everyone is helpful, which really helps when trying to understand how something works in a different department or if you need information to complete a task. The work itself is very interesting. I definitely learned something new every single day and the field of video communications is very interesting and an extremely relevant field, especially now. The company culture is great. There are lots of afterworks, parties, activities and offsites. This has changed slightly since the pandemic started of course, but they still make a huge effort to bring everyone together.
Cons
This is a young company and is somewhat chaotic and unorganised at certain times. It was a bit difficult to scale in our department, which meant a lot of work fell on certain people. Some benefits like equity are not offered to our department. Sales at times would oversell and make some false promises, which would make it more difficult on customer care.
