Pros

Time and schedule flexibility. There are varieties of topics to choose from.

Cons

Too much workload and the payment is not reasonable - it's too low. I earned way too little money for investing a lot of time and effort into one task. When I saw this job ad, they promised $1k of earning per month. But with their crazy and absurd workloads and ridiculous grading rules, you're lucky if you get to withdraw $200 in a month. You can be the smartest student in college, but try work for this company and all of a sudden you become a dumb student who plagiarizes all the papers. My orders were given low grade due to plagiarism, and when I checked, most of the similarities are like these: "In my opinion..." - guess what, this is PLAGIARISM! "Due to the..." - also PLAGIARISM! "Recent research shows that..." - another PLAGIARISM! Any footnote references, all are PLAGIARISM! I'm not kidding about these. All the common phrases, which mostly are not more than five words in a sentence, are marked as plagiarism in my papers. Even the name of a company or international association is considered plagiarism, believe it or not! There was one time when I argued with one of the managers and guess what? The excuse for penalizing me - too much CITATION. *facepalm Most companies would explain any fault done by employees, but this scam of a company doesn't do that. They don't listen to your side of the story, they just give you more warnings, deduct your money from the available account. They don't grade the papers manually as they should, the system does that according to their own formatting. Clients can specifically ask you to do the assignment in bullet points, but the graders will give your poor grade because it didn't match any format by the systems. So yes, another warning and fine. Yayy. *roll eyes And lastly, they put my account under review before I could request a withdrawal for quite a large sum of money. That was the last straw. At that moment, I decided that I was so done with them. If you're a beginner in freelancing, stay away from this company. But you can try if you want, at your own risk.

Dear Writer! We're glad that you can find interesting projects to work on and manage your time. As to the orders, we offer different prices for different orders, for example an urgent 5 page article or some sort of a business review is way more pricey than a short blog article that is due in a week. We understand that urgent and complex projects should be compensated accordingly. You are the one to decide on your workload, so you could manage your income. Thank you for bringing up this case. We have a plagiarism check machine to ensure that all projects are original. Sure, sometimes it detects common phrases as plagiarism, simply because there are similarities with online sources. That is why our Support team is involved in the process and review each case related to plagiarism. We do not have any automatic system that applies fines based on the results of plagiarism checker. You can only be fined by QA manager after full scale grading with in-line comments and according to the rules you get before you start working on the first order with us. Plagiarism is not only about copy pasting phrases directly, if you borrow someones ideas without referencing the source, you simply steal intellectual property. We do not tolerate any kind of dishonesty. We have a well-trained QA team to provide you with clear explanation of possible mistakes. However, we understand that we all have our ups and downs. Accept my apology for a possible mistake from our side. I would appreciate if you emailed me (success-team@liv-research.com) the order number, so I could check the case and take measures. I'm sure we can solve the situation together! In case there are a lot of issues with quality, an account can be reviewed by a Success Manager to decide on further actions. Typically, it takes about 24-48 hours. Even if we decide to part our ways, we don't close an account before full withdrawal. We value your time and appreciate your efforts. I really hope to hear from you soon! Best regards, Julia Success Team

Pros

A great company to which I've been dedicating all my efforts for the past 3 years. What I do appreciate and really want to highlight for all the others - is the company culture and the amount of opportunities for one's professional growth. A lot of career opportunities are introduced here, and also, there are lots of events organized by the company that help to grow and feel part of the team. Being a part of this team is truly adorable, I do feel encouraged and inspired to become better version of myself, and can't think of any other company but COMPANY to do so. One more big advantage in this company is that you can manage your schedule on your own, and that makes a perfect work/life balance.

Cons

Unfortunately, this field is required and I can't simply ignore it. Personally, I'm not seeing any problems/shortcomings that are worth mentioning here. Though, one has to be aware, that it is possible to encounter a low season here, when the amount of work slightly drops which means the salary is a bit lower.

Pros

Pay used to be good Customer Support used to be great

Cons

Since mid 2021 I think management changed. They instituted poor policies: >Shortened time to review orders >CPP drastically reduced >Ridiculous verification for long time users >Arbitrary enforcement of account shutdown >Shut down skype customer support- which used to be fast and efficient
