Low pay and it’s based on students volunteering certain hours so sometimes short staffed. Not often though.

Lock Haven U. has wonderful colleagues, great programs, surrounding area is natural and beautiful. Since the faculty are unionized it comes with a great benefits package.

Over the year's management bungled long-term finances for short-term gain by gutting programs that obtained multimillion-dollar grants, students who eventually went to fortune 100 companies and highly regarded graduate schools, and faculty lines. Now Lock Haven is on the ropes and nowhere to turn to as the state is also cut funding precipitously over the years.
