Pros

Good studio facilities with good range of interesting clients

Cons

Bad management style, very top down approach from a director who obtained the studio through nepotism. Management often take favourites and treat employees as resources rather than people. Long hours often working 12 hours a day 4 days in a row despite the contract stating 40 after which management still wonder why you’re tired and less productive. Unfriendly office staff who seem to believe they don’t need to treat assistants with basic respect. You will need to ask multiple times for basic equipment and restocks while the production office is replenished regularly. Living wage pay which isn’t regularly adjusted.

Pros

Beautiful studio with a high standard of customer satisfaction

Cons

Extremely long working hours to the point of not being strictly legal (sometimes less than 9 hours between finish one shift and starting the next day.) Strange and unhealthy lunch system that meant an hours break had to be split throughout the day e.g 15mins in the morning, 30 min lunch and 15 min in the evening in what was often a 14-16 hour shift
