Pros

While the company may offer decent pay and exposure to modern technologies, the day-to-day experience for software engineers can be quite draining. Here's a breakdown of the challenges: * Lack of recognition for actual contributors: Engineers who focus on doing real work often go unnoticed, while those who are vocal and good at managing perceptions are seen as high performers due to lack of visibility at leadership levels. * Chaotic work environment: Roles and responsibilities are poorly defined. Engineers frequently end up handling operational issues because of broken on-call processes and others avoiding accountability. * Ownership trap: Showing too much ownership early on can backfire. You'll end up taking responsibility for everything, including tasks that aren’t yours. * Micromanagement from non-tech teams: Business stakeholders often micromanage engineering tasks with frequent calls (even 5–6 times a day), and tech leadership rarely steps in to shield the team due to limited influence. * Pay disparity and unfair expectations: Engineers earning significantly less than others are still expected to take on more ownership, creating frustration and resentment. * Unhealthy work-life boundaries: Calls and messages after 9 PM or on weekends are common. Work communication frequently happens over WhatsApp, leading to constant interruptions. * Artificial urgency and top-down pressure: It’s routine to be asked to deliver 10 days of work in 3 days using shortcuts. Deadlines are always top down with limited say from engineers. * Low technical challenge: The engineering problems are not particularly complex. The work may not be engaging if you're seeking architectural or system-level challenges. * Frequent disruptions: It’s common to be in deep work only to get interrupted by a sales or ops person with an “urgent” request, leading to task-switching, delays, and eventual burnout. * Toxic HR practices: HR is known to be dismissive and unprofessional. Talk rudely to subordinates. * Workplace politics and incompetence: There’s a noticeable presence of underperformers who mask their lack of contribution by overshadowing others and playing internal politics. Blame game is common and teammates often talk ** about to their own advantage.

Cons

Final thoughts: I won’t recommend this company to software engineers because of poor work culture. If you're considering this company thinking it’s a stable mid-stage startup, be cautious—many teams still operate like an early-stage setup with poor processes. Talented engineers eventually leave once they realize they’re stuck in a toxic loop(pun intended). The mental toll can be significant, with some even struggling with some even struggling with long term anxiety ( founders office folks )

Pros

Great opportunity to build the future of healthcare. For folks who like shipping great products fast, this is the right place

Cons

The team is very young. So unlike big tech you do not get a lot of hand holding, mentorship etc. Plus its a young startup so building at pace can feel chaotic
