Pros

Work from Home: The option to work remotely provides flexibility and comfort. One-Off Work from Home Setup Bonus: Employees receive a bonus to facilitate their home office setup, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and resources. Flexible Working Hours: While the standard work hours may extend beyond the usual 9-6, the company offers flexibility in scheduling to accommodate personal needs. Do be prepared for meetings at odd hours to accommodate colleagues in different timezones. Diverse and Supportive Colleagues: The team consists of individuals from various nationalities, fostering a rich and inclusive work environment. Somewhat Competitive Salary: The compensation package is somewhat competitive within the industry, but do not expect a salary increase/increment on a yearly basis. Medical Coverage: A somewhat comprehensive medical coverage is provided, ensuring employees' health and well-being are taken cared off.

Cons

Deteriorating Culture: The once decent culture of this company has been plummeting over the past few months. Nepotism at Its Peak: Co-founders and Culture Lead indulge in nepotism, preferring to hire friends and family, particularly those associated with MindValley or from Silicon Valley. Leadership Void: The top brass, notably the 3 mentioned above, exhibit shockingly low emotional intelligence (EQ). They demonstrate a complete disregard for their employees, making their lives unbearable at times and replacing competent teams with their inner circle. Lack of Accountability: Instead of owning up to their decisions, the management throws employees under the bus - even doing so during town halls and weekly huddles and retros. Rather than acknowledging the impact of their actions, they flaunt their personal luxuries, like purchasing new SMEG fridges or Teslas, immediately after firing entire teams, demonstrating a complete lack of empathy and decency. Board of Directors as a Shield: Management conveniently blames the Board of Directors for their ruthless actions. Incompetent Decision-Making: Decisions are made based on random sources like books, podcasts, conferences or YouTube videos, leading to chaotic situations and subsequent scapegoating of employees or teams when things go bad. Favouritism Rules: Success within the company is reliant on currying favour with the management. Personal Grudges Impact Work: The 3 mentioned above mix personal vendettas with business decisions, making the workplace toxic for those they dislike. Discrimination: Some nationalities are unfairly targeted and discriminated against, particularly concerning public holidays. Despite the company's purported "unlimited leaves" policy, management hastily revoked this benefit due to a various reasons like ‘too many public holidays’ or ‘combining public holidays with casual leaves’. However, their decision was swiftly reversed three days later, accompanied by a directive to pretend the incident never happened. Lack of Leadership Skills: C-level lacks essential leadership qualities necessary to steer the company in the right direction. Actually, many leads in this company lack the necessary leadership skills. Toxic Internal Competition: The company foster an environment where teams and teammates are pitted against each other, potentially undermining collaboration and cohesion within the company. Questionable Leadership Dynamics: The presence of a husband and wife duo leading critical portfolios, such as the CTO and Culture Lead raises concerns about potential conflicts of interest and biased decision-making, they influence each other's actions and decisions. Potential Misuse of Company Resources: It's a big coincidence that certain memorable events take place during company-sponsored trips - such as the CTO proposing to the Culture Lead during a company trip to Bali, suggesting potential misuse of company resources for personal reasons.
