I want to start by thanking you for taking the time to submit your review of Lucion. It is important to me that you have your say. However, you currently don’t recommend Lucion, and have a “negative outlook” on our company, so you’re clearly very unhappy at Lucion and/or in your job. First I want to make sure that you have raised your issues internally via one of our feedback channels. These include multiple avenues outlined below:
Appraisals - your one to one meeting with your manager, at a frequency you get to specify to help you assess where you are in your career journey.
Take Care Be Aware Representatives - As you will be aware from our Being Lucion communications channel, you have a local TCBA representative who is there to listen to any grievances you have and represent these feelings anonymously to our Leadership Team. They are trained in mental health awareness, can assist with any well being issues personally or within the team.
HR - Anyone can speak to us confidentially about any issues they may be having relating to work or home life.
Whilst I appreciate you may feel unable to currently speak to your manager, without communicating to us directly, your situation will be unlikely to change, so I do urge you to use the above mediums.
Your review is very personal and so I would also encourage you to make contact with either myself or Katherine Bridle (HR Manager), via email, chat or phone call, to discuss your issues so we can together find a solution to your situation. I stress that if you do reach out to me or Katherine, your comments will be completely confidential and will have no bearing on your progress within Lucion, but any information you can give us may go a long way to improving your working life.
I appreciate your desire to leave Lucion, and I get it, as it doesn’t sound like we are the right fit. Lucion doesn’t suit everyone, and everyone deserves to be happy where they work. You feel you are currently not able to leave due to the costs associated with exiting the organisation. If this is the case, it is because we have invested in you and your career, through training and development. Our team are the most skilled in the industry. We invest into our staff as our clients come to us for the level of skills, competency and qualifications we offer. Unfortunately we have to protect our company from previous cases of individuals capitalising on our free training and then leaving. This is explained prior to signing any contracts.
As you will have recently seen we often recognise individuals and teams for a job well done, and for those who go above and beyond within your team, career developments have been offered and accepted. Anyone who wants to develop their careers at Lucion has an equal opportunity to do so.
To summarise, I hope you have taken the many opportunities we offer internally to raise your issues and make positive change happen. If you have done so, and no change has happened, please report this to me. If you’re still unhappy, I hope you find an alternative opportunity that is a better fit for you.
Thank you again for taking the time to leave us a review and I hope to hear from you soon.
