Pros
•Great people •Flexible start times •Hour long lunch break •Frequent screen breaks
Cons
•No progression - even after slaving away at underpaid salary packages compared to the industry •Management only book smart - not practical and no common sense •Management are not managing their teams instead they are acting as data analysts for the private equity overlords •Shocking high staff turnover •Lack of communication between individuals in the same team and also between different teams •Good employees are treated like sheep in a slaughter house - shot and put down with no remorse •Tears of employees are not enough to show what pressure they are put under - tears caused by their own line management •People are wrongly promoted - people are not promoted on their ability or performance instead promotions are distributed by irrelevant factors such as how long they have been at the company •No pay packages offered which are fair and in line with industry standard - instead they compare pay packages demographically but they fail to understand that in the location of their HQ (Manchester) property prices start at £100K compared to £300K starting in London - how are the employees in London ever to jump on the property ladder living on Manchester wages •London Support team is skeletal or pretty much non existent as so many support team members have left - London customers complain that the Manchester support team do not have a clue about the they are doing and are not able to provide support due to their unfamiliarity with the London network •The transition of first line support from London to Manchester caused nothing but delays as we were bombarded with Manchester support team calling us for help even though we were not the support team nor were we trained to handle support tickets.
