High Turn Over and Low Pay - Anonymous employee MAPFRE Insurance Employee Review

Pros

The PTO is probably the best reason to work here. In addition to the small town feel. The company is right off of the highway close to CT and RI.

Cons

The pay and yearly raises are so low that many people leave the company to go to Hanover for a raise and come back to MAPFRE. There are little training programs so you feel completely lost when you get into a new position. The upper management and HR doesn't care about you or you concerns. This is obvious because all employees can see the turnover. The company is hiring people outside of the P and C field just to fill positions, so the minions who get paid nothing are carrying all of the new management! It's very frustrating to watch and greatly run company run into the ground since it was bought out by MAPFRE.
