Pros
Many good people work here. Company is very open to allowing work from home, and family emergencies. A good place to begin your IT career.
Cons
Training is a joke. You are given a minimal intro to the tools used, and then thrown into the deep end, and expected to be fluid and productive. More Senior employees are supposed to help, but assistance ranges from outright ignoring requests for explanation, to "Look it up on Google" kinds of answers to very specific questions or procedures. Rather than creating an environment where everyone helps everyone succeed, senior employees consciously guard any information regarding clients/client specifics that might endanger their fiefdom. The client suffers because of this, as fewer tech resources can rise to the task to assist.
Pay is way below the industry standard. Management knows the, and there is a VAST difference between mid level techs and upper level tech who often perform the same work.
Turnover is ridiculous. I was there for over a year, and a total of 24 people left. Out of that, 2 were let go, the rest left due to the work environment, or for other jobs for more pay.
The company had hired several consultants, which for the small size of the company, is excessive.
