Pros
Decent pay and low workload. Although some people may want more to do. Everyone has their monitors pointed into corners and there is a lot of reddit browsing going on.
Cons
You get to work on space hardware which is very cool sounding, but better to brag about than actually do. Until you prove yourself, you might be stuck doing very repetitive tasks (shortening electrical cables, generating matlab plots)
