Pros
I’ve worked at MDRN Capital for a while now, and the thing that stands out the most is that this place doesn’t feel like a typical financial firm. It’s fast, it’s ambitious, and the people here genuinely care about getting better. The leadership team isn’t perfect, but they’re accessible, they listen, and they’re willing to change things when something isn’t working. That’s rare.
The culture is the biggest upside. Even though we’re fully remote, you don’t feel disconnected. There’s real collaboration, and if you put in the effort, you’ll get noticed. Promotions and responsibility here actually come from performance, not politics.
The company is growing quickly, and that opens up real opportunities. You won’t be bored. If you like a place where things move, where you’re pushed to level up, this is it. The CEO has big ideas, and the leadership team gives structure so those ideas turn into something real.
The work-life balance is good for a high-growth environment. Expectations are clear. If you’re someone who wants to coast, this probably isn’t a fit. But if you want to be part of something that’s becoming a major player in the industry, MDRN is a solid place to be.
Overall, this is the first job I’ve had where I feel like my work actually matters and where the company’s future feels exciting. Five stars.
Cons
The pace isn’t for everyone. MDRN is growing fast, and that means priorities can shift quickly. If you need everything to be slow, predictable, and neatly packaged, you’ll probably get frustrated.
Because the company is scaling so quickly, a lot of processes are still being built or rebuilt. Sometimes you’ll feel like the plane is getting upgraded mid-flight. It’s exciting, but it can be chaotic if you’re not adaptable.
Communication is strong overall, but with a fully remote team, you have to be proactive. If you wait for someone to spoon-feed you information, you’ll fall behind.
The bar is high. Expectations are clear, but this isn’t a place where you can hide or coast. The flip side is that the right people thrive here.
