Pros
I had my first job in the UK and I was very nervous when I joined the team, because even though I had some experience in the health care field, I did not have a lot of experience and MEDii looks after some really high profile customers. But the team was really welcoming to me, especially doctor Sam, whom I came to admire a lot and he taught me so much. I was signed up to many courses, learnt to take blood test, do cannulation, and even assistant with some procedures.
Everyone is very friendly, and I really enjoyed my time here and learnt so much. The team is really focused on how to make the quality of service better for the customers, and I never felt I was blamed for mistakes I made, because the working environment was very supportive and we are encouraged to talk openly about how we can do things better. I also took on more and more responsibilities, which I really liked. I was really sad to be leaving London, but I feel grateful for the opportunity to grow here.
Cons
The clinical environment can be busy, and there is quite a lot to learn, but is great for someone if they want to grow a lot ^_^
