Pros

Remote. You'll be rolling your eyes all day but no one can see. Incompetence. Doing slightly more than the least is all you gotta do to shine. Immaturity/Lack of Professionalism: A real Dungeons & Dragons crew roleplaying Grown Up Company. As an actual professional adult, you'll sit back and collect a paycheck while they recreate middle school hierarchies in an effort to come out on top this time. Boomer Communication: 'I' statements? Never heard of them. Revert to petty territoriality, name calling & backstabbing over literally the dumbest things you've ever even thought of. Emotional regulation is not required. 401k is a joke. Matching?! Only the sketchiest, most convoluted profit sharing scheme you've ever heard of, so there's absolutely nothing holding you back from working here while you look for a job at a real company, and then leaving abruptly when you find one. Working was never your dream anyway. Careers are dumb. This job can fund your real goals, although definitely at a rate below market average.

Cons

CONS None at all. This is what they teach in business school if the business school was at a Ren Faire. No matter how you choose to interpret this, you're right.

Pros

Even though I was just laid off, this was the BEST company I've worked for in my life. The management, the people, the work/life balance, etc. I am so sad that I had to be cut, but they were gracious and I totally understand.

Cons

What's happening now, sadly, is due to the current administration.

Pros

The people below management are great, smart, and caring. They really care about putting out the best work they can.

Cons

Refused to adapt to climate around them, had to lay off half their employees because of government budget cuts, but still were able to give all the admin members of the company a promotion, not a good look and goes against the core values which feels like they lost touch with and stopped caring about the people that made the company great and care more about what goes in the wallets of the few people at the top.
