The unfortunate state of affairs if the president and founder of the firm allows her personal moods dictate the office culture. She’s typically abrasive, quite moody and experiences complete paranoia which results in tenuous relationships with clients as well unprofessional outbursts of frustration and anger with usually no cause in the form of employee abuse. She also is rarely involved with daily client operations despite weekly updates and daily inclusion on all client emails. This behavior leads to overall confusion, frustration and disruption for clients and employees. She is also very competitive with stellar employees who end up leaving the company after short periods of time due to the bevior described earlier.

Owner / Director is an alcoholic and poorly manages company. Unfortunately - though she seems kind - she is paranoid of any employee and there is no consistency with operations, policy or methodology. She is well connected, which is why I assume clients continue to utilize her services, however she knows nothing about production. She has a Rolodex of A-list donors that she cultivates by stealing mailing lists and using them as her own. I never worked an event where she wasn't drunk by cocktail hour. She could be suffering from bi-polar disorder. There are plenty of other event companies in the event sphere in NY - get your experience elsewhere.
