Advertised as flexible working but you had a fixed rota and strict deadlines to visit clients. The role was mobile and occasionally road conditions meant it was out of staffs control when arriving late. Too many processes and tracking of your day felt like management did not trust you as an employee. Your salary and commission was docked if equipment was damaged even though the kits were shared across staff. Progression limited and working remotely is not ideal for everyone.

I recently joined MILK after interviewing with some of the other mobile beauty competitors. I love it because I'm employed full-time with guaranteed hours, plus the benefits package is much better than the others. The standards are very high, but I've already received really great training and it's a lovely and supportive team.

Sometimes the traffic can get you down a bit, but most of the time it's easily avoided and it's great not to be stuck in a salon.
