A few great people, but the high stress, low pay, and constant demands outside work hours are overwhelming. - Home Supervisor MOKA Employee Review

Pros

The residents and some of the staff are amazing and become like family.

Cons

The biggest problem is that if you do your job well, you get to do the work of 3 people due to turnover and burnout. The intense pressure of being on-call 24/7 while only getting a measly salary is very demotivating. Not a lot of growth potential.

Pros

I worked there years ago (before 2020) but everyone was very kind. It was nice to work with people and know I'm helping them.

Cons

At the time, the salary was quite low. I don't know if it has improved since, relative to inflation and the cost of living.

Pros

The customers are nice, and making the drinks can be fun.

Cons

Absolutely terrible management. The managers are lazy, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Always forcing the workers to do things while they sit on their phone or do random tasks to avoid making drinks/taking orders for customers. Blatant favouritism towards female employees that are attractive. No HR in place. majority of employees are family or friends of the managers so they can get away with almost anything. Managers have no formal management training. Rude and condescending. Hire actual managers with experience instead of hiring the bosses nephews or sons.
