Worked on site in the camps. One of the most toxic workplaces I’ve ever experienced. Workplace bullying is absolutely rife, and top down management techniques that put the blame on the employee for everything. Supervisors don’t accept responsibility and pass on issues to the contract staff who can’t argue because they need to maintain a reputation. Constant safety and environmental regulation breaks. Racist remarks in the vicinity of aboriginal and black crew onsite. The crew is cliquey and anyone on the “in” gets away with murder while disliked contractors are thrown under the bus.
