Pros
Strong culture and values. People genuinely care about doing the right thing for customers and colleagues. Supportive leaders. I’ve had leaders who are accessible, open to feedback, and willing to invest time in coaching and development. Flexibility and work-life balance. Opportunities to influence. There’s room to shape how things are done, especially in people and culture spaces. Smart, down‑to‑earth colleagues. Teams are collaborative, pragmatic and focused on outcomes rather than politics.
Cons
Change fatigue. Like many organisations, there’s a lot of change. Priorities can shift quickly, which sometimes creates noise and rework. Pace and capacity. The organisation moves fast and expectations are high; at times this can stretch capacity and make it hard to carve out deep focus time. Communication gaps. Not all change is communicated clearly or consistently, so some teams are better informed than others.
