Madison Design Review - Design Intern Madison Design Employee Review

Very receptive leadership. From my first week when I saw a problem or something that could be improved, even as a very inexperienced designer, I was heard and action was put into place. They highly value education and furthering yourself here. Which is personally very important to me. Very active in the community. Madison has participated in many community outreach events (less so due to the pandemic) but I look forward to participating when things open back up. Flexible and understand you're a human. Whether its flexing your hours to get to a doctor's appointment or having to back off your workload for a few days because you're not feeling well. Very friendly and understanding employees. They have curated a great team of people who want everyone to succeed. All the creative directors are great and very open to changing work or communication styles to suit everyone.

For me, the only con would be resource availability. Due to them being a smaller company they don't have access to some of the more elaborate resources that larger firms have.

Good variety of clients, beautiful office space, some nice very people

Disorganized, limited growth opportunities, cliquey office culture, still uses some systems are practices are very dated (ex. paper and pencil to manage project schedule/ workflow for entire office rather than newer, more helpful digital options)
