BCBAs are awesome, supportive and willing to take time to assist/teach you!
Lots of observation sessions available before starting to better prepare you for each client.
Cons
Sometimes had to drive far to see clients due to limited staffing.
This is a great first job for recent graduates because it looks wonderful on a resume.
Decent salary
Mileage reimbursement
The families I worked for were wonderful, some of them became friends.
Offered tuition reimbursement for continuing education
Room to grow
Cons
No benefits for part-time
Nearly impossible to get full-time hours (this is true of any ABA job though)
There was no clinic where I was located, so I never met any of my co-workers
Paychecks are not stable because families cancel sessions quite a bit, sometimes last minute.
Lots of commuting.
