Pros
The people you work with are for the most part incredible. The company and the industry draws in people who love to create, collaborate and work on hard problems.
Cons
Leadership has trouble creating a clear vision for the company. Efforts to try to align more closely with the parent company Stratasys have typically led to a feeling that leadership is unaware of the differences between the consumer and industrial 3D printing market and that they have little patience for investing in a growing market. This leaves employees feeling consistently unsupported, and beholden to short term financial targets above and beyond long term growth prospects. The treatment of employees from an HR perspective is also atrocious. Changes in healthcare providers occur with less than a month's notice and significantly reduced coverage is presented as comparable with the implication that employees would not notice. 2 sets of layoffs of ~20% of the company within 6 months were preceded by no warning, followed by promises that such a thing will not happen again and accompanied by demeaning severance agreements. All this results in a high turnover rate and a prominent us vs. them mentality.
