Pros

Since joining from a large organisation I’ve seen a drastic change in how we work. It seemed very unorganised when I started but we now have some real structure and metrics to review our performance with. The old management lacked structure to determine how well one service desk analyst performed compared to the next and I strive myself on my stats to push and drive myself further. How else would I know if I’m doing a good job? When I started there was no useful knowledge base, no individual queues to work on per person and tickets would constantly get escalated as they were weeks if not months old without any work being performed on them. I've seen colleagues leave due to the new approach and most will get a shock when they go elsewhere as compared to most IT companies I’ve worked for Managed 24/7 doesn't micro manage you. You have the ability to suggest ideas and turn them in to reality quickly.

Cons

Parking isn't great unless you are on the early shift although it's free as the company reimburse the cost. Some of the staff that are still here that have been here for a few years can at times be lazy and moan too much, even when I’m talking to customers which is frustrating. Hopefully they'll move on to find something better if it's that bad. Knowledge is getting there but it’s taking a while because we are building it ourselves from scratch. I miss bacon rolls on Friday's.

Thank you for taking time to write this review as a current employee. I am very happy that you are enjoying working for us and have seen the progression we have made over the course of 2017. One thing that I will pick up on is the change the old and bring in the new. Whether employees are new or old we hold the same standards in performance. I certainly hope nobody leaves and we all grow together as one team. I have the greatest respect for new and old employees. I speak as being the oldest serving employee! Thanks again for the feedback I appreciate it John

Pros

-Work from home. -didn't have to do a lot due to the company lack of organisation

Cons

Deceitful regarding the role. I applied for a job based 250miles away from the office, they told me during interview that they had a client up my way, wanting a on-site presence. Upon starting, they were secretive at first about this client, so I was put essentially in standby mode. Until I found out they were just HOPEFUL to get this client, and that I now had to interview with the client to help secure the contract. During which they advised that I lied about how long I had been with the company. Long story short. They couldn't secure the contract. And they let me go as a result. Very underhanded behaviour Also. Very poor pay.

Pros

Good team Remote working Friendly people across the company Helped me develop I worked at Managed for a lot of years, the contract i was on ended up going to a different organisation and our whole desk got transfered over to this other company, as soon as we went to that other company we were all made redundant. After looking around for jobs i've finally found one in a large corporation, a place where im definitely a number, this made me realise the grass isn't always greener and made me write this review. I genuinely had such a great time at managed, i learned so much from my team and it was such a good atmosphere, from before covid when we were in the office, to after covid when we were remote workers. The management were always helpful to me and the other guys. I also got some great advise during the tupe process from Managed, which was more than i did from this other company i ended up with for a day before they sent us all home. All in all, i keep an eye out for roles at Managed because i would like to go back one day and that's saying something as right now i'm a wheel in a cog, i'd like to go back to being part of something good.

Cons

Can be quite stressful at times with Major Incidents and the flood of users calling in Some analysts were slow so you'd have to pick up the slack
