Pros

Manifest is turning things around with recent positive changes. While there were some good things in the past, overall it was just run poorly. It suffered lack of leadership, bad decisions, and absentee management. Morale has been low for a long time. There's now new direction and you can feel the morale picking up. The PMs have been isolated since their leader left last summer. A new change in the head of Technology is great and will keep PMs that were about to leave. Communication is much better but things are still early and it will be an effort to fix all the problems. It seems like it's a much better group leading things now.

Cons

Many good employees were let go over the past year. The client loss is hard to even calculate. The place was run into the ground. It's going to be a tough time getting back on track.

Pros

Nice, smart people, collaborative environment.

Cons

Jobs are very subject to market volatility. When brands don't make money, they often cut back on content.

Pros

Most colleagues are nice and collaborative. Decent benefits. Competitive pay for an agency. Flexible work environment.

Cons

Post-merger layoffs spread out over several months. Homogeneous culture with minimal diversity. Laid off “for performance” after confirming upcoming PTO for a religious holiday that was only days away (and that I had requested months in advance), so take that as you will. Had to fight for unemployment benefits afterward. From a business standpoint, minimal client diversity. One major client rules the roost and causes reevaluation of staff and resources on quarterly basis. Not a sustainable business model in the current economic climate.
