Work-life balance can be a thing, Colleagues are great and laid back to some extent given the compensation structure of the organization. Great working opportunities within the organization if you know how to navigate.
Cons
HR is running the people, including trying to force a culture that is apparently not suitable for the company. End result, HR is just using the culture as a stick to mute everyone. The best example is the "Market Rate", with no supporting data, HR claims everyone's salary is based on market rate, which everyone knows is not true. Got challenged, they claim "No we're not in that business". Also, a quick search of AFR shows the number of employees is constantly dropping, thus the company is absolutely trimming the people out of business quietly. At this stage, don't join Mantel, it's on a downhill slope at the moment.
