Pros
Not much to say here. Probably the best thing is that you can stay in the company without doing anything since the managers and the CEO are unsuitable for their roles, and there is always chaos going on, so probably nobody will notice that you are underperforming. Given that no one has ever been fired, it is a low-effort environment for those who prefer a minimal workload. This could be a suitable option for recent graduates or individuals looking for a stress-free job while exploring other opportunities.
Cons
This company characterized itself as a startup, but the truth is that it looked more like a department of the Greek public sector during the ‘80s. The managers, and especially the CEO, lack communication and collaboration skills, while hiring decisions seem to be based more on personal connections than professional qualifications. The highly unstructured workplace culture leads to a toxic environment with high employee turnover—most employees leave within 5-6 months. Salaries are also significantly below industry standards. Given these factors, long-term career growth here is unlikely. This company may be an option for those in transition or with no immediate alternatives, but anyone serious about building a career in this industry should look elsewhere. On the bright side, any future workplace will likely feel like an improvement after this experience.
