Pros
The mission, vision and work that we executed was commendable and admirable. I actually felt like we were making a difference in people's lives and it was proving true. Leadership was attentive to the needs of people who worked in the health centers and the corporate office. Your team lead makes or breaks your experience. Benefits were great but pay was mediocre and below average.
Cons
Pay was mediocre and ability to move up the ladder was nearly impossible. My manager was atrocious, vindictive and, honestly, more caught up in their education status and putting people in their place rather than building people up. Managing-up was nearly impossible and there was a back-stabby element to some people in the corporate office but certainly not in the health centers. Felt like there was tons of drama from some of the middle-management folks. Culture is borderline toxic in the office and some very mean-spirited people work here although the vision of the founder and the CEO are solid. I was underpaid, under-appreciated and overworked. However, some people have flourished there but I did not see real career growth or opportunity for advancement which is both a good and bad thing.
