Pros
As a People Experience Manager at Marathon Health, I get to do work I genuinely love for a company whose mission and values I fully believe in. We talk a lot about our core values (Service Excellence, Joy, Empathy, Bias to Act, Teamwork, and Courage) and for me, I do my best to live those values every day. I also see them reflected in how our teams show up for one another and for the people we serve.
Like any growing company, we’re not without challenges. Communication and change can sometimes feel fast-paced or messy, but what gives me confidence is how committed we are to learning, improving, and doing right by our teammates. Feedback is welcomed, new ideas are encouraged, and there’s a real desire to evolve, not just at the top, but across every level of the organization.
One thing that consistently makes me proud is our culture of recognition. From formal programs to everyday shoutouts, we celebrate one another often and with heart. Whether you're a health center teammate, a corporate support pro, or a leader, great service and collaboration are noticed and appreciated.
Our care teams are some of the most skilled, compassionate providers I’ve ever worked with. And across all functions, there’s a shared sense of purpose: we’re here to make a difference and we’re in it together.
Cons
Not really a Con, but, change can happen fast! I appreciate the genuine desire to listen, evolve, and improve.
