Disappointing to see how far we have fallen - Engineer Marathon Petroleum Employee Review

Upper management has no clear vision for the company. There is little to no communication with the employees. Too much focus/investment on renewables chasing short term tax incentives and not enough investment maintaining our refineries that maintain the balance sheet. The Total Compensation is no longer competitive and we are seeing good teammates leave the company daily. The tech companies are offering packages that leave MPC in the dust, and this is where all the top talent is flocking to. It's sad that this issue has been growing for years now and management still has done nothing to stop it, let alone slow it down. Culture and Morale are at the lowest point I have seen at any organization.
