Pros

MPN's application of blockchain technology to the trade and trade finance spheres has the potential to be absolutely game-changing. It's a use-case that perfectly suits blockchain technology and DLT, which could overcome so many barriers that limit the further development of solutions from existing technology providers and fintechs

Cons

Standing up a blockchain-based tech stack in this industry that can compete with the established, robust and already highly-capable non-DLT solutions out there is no mean feat!

Pros

* Lots of opportunity to work weekends. * Get to have a lunch where you bring your own food & drink but you get to thank the company for letting you have 15 minutes to listen to the CEO talk about how rich he's going to be. *Rob dresses up as Santa every Christmas eve and you get to take your kids into the office to make paper 'block' chains!! haha! Much better than seeing the in-laws. * Perks for Senior management where you can hire your mates and bypass the normal interview process. - our Chief Architect came through this process and is living proof you don't even need a competent grasp of architecture to do the job! * Get to live in the year of Marco Polo - every year. Even when we're making a load of staff redundant!!!!! *Never be bored again - spend every hour working and when things go wrong, it'll be a great opportunity for you to work the next weekend. * 10% time like Google - 10% of time doing your work, 90% of time in meetings. *Anonymous staff survey - you only need to enter your date of birth, blood type and the first 12 digits of your PPS number.

Cons

Sometimes there's not enough managers to go around. There's only about 6 managers around to manage the 3 projects on at the minute.

Pros

Innovative ideas for the Trade Finance industry Use of DLT technology Amazing engineers QA is important and factored in

Cons

HR have gone far too corporate far too quickly - the company is still a start up, but the flexibility for startup employees is being stifled by corporate procedures without the corresponding corporate benefits being put in place to keep people happy or to attract new talent. As with most startups the product was built for demo and then hacked again and again into shape for demo after demo. This introduces a lack of quality into the code due to rushing for deadlines and this is not being given the time to fix. There have been a few pushes to get software out the door on time which resulted in a large proportion of the engineering team working mad extra hours. This has happened a few times, but there is no recognition or reward for this extra effort. Some senior managers make promises that are never upheld (e.g. benefits, rewarding success, etc) Processes are too slow to get work in-front of engineers to enable them to get to work efficiently. Product team are understaffed with BAs that don't fully understand the product as it currently stands (not their fault... due to lack of training/time on the product)
