Pros
The people are great (can't say this enough). There is the availability to work remotely with travel. Unlimited PTO and benefits that go into effect on your first day.
Cons
The leadership seems lost and there is not a lot of confidence in the leadership team from the employees. After experiencing multiple restructurings and a recent mass layoff, employees are feeling on edge. Leadership seems to be doubling down on their decisions and a lot of blame is being placed on lower-level employees when those decision are not turning the company around. Some of these decisions are made with no input from the employees who have insight into how it will affect this business and have to deal with additional work to address the repercussions these decisions have. Many departments seem to have no growth structure. When asking about next steps for your career, be prepared to be asked about going to a role in a different department or if you even seen yourself with the company in five years. Salaries are not competitive. New leadership has been put in charge of product management, so there is a chance of improvement, but be prepared to join a team that is running very lean and in the mist of another restructuring.
