Pros

-pretty laid back environment -most of the people are nice -located in a fun neighborhood in Seattle -get to work with lots of clients

Cons

I don't even know where to begin with this company. I had several years of marketing experience and the first day I start they were teaching me how to create fake positive reviews for "SEO" which we all know isn't even legal. The upper management is extremely unprofessional, and I've never experienced a worse exit interview in my life. The wages are not competitive, everyone is underpaid and over worked, and if you join as a new employee, good luck. You'll be cleaning up the mess that was left behind.

Pros

You can wear what you want, bring your pets, and you probably won't be held accountable for your work.

Cons

Several reasons to avoid this company: Low Pay: attribute that to being a "startup" which they've been doing for 6 years now. It's not a start up. They provide marketing services to 100-150 small businesses and that's what they've been doing for years. Everyone has an extremely low salary and it doesn't get better. Consistently unhappy clients: Because of how understaffed the company is, employees don't have the time to give each client what they're being promised. In order to gain more clients, there is a constant theme of over promising and under delivering. Clients are consistently frustrated and confused and the overall theme is that they feel cheated. During my 1 + time working there, more than half of clients quit after their 6 month contract. You will constantly be "putting out fires" by stretching the truth on work you've done. Unprofessional: with the "lax environment" comes gossip and unfulfilled promises, especially in reference to giving raises. They will look you in the eye and promise you something and never follow through. This includes a promise of a good reference after amicably parting ways. Along with this, there is no one even close to being "mentor" material. They've disclosed very personal information about ex employees to the rest of the company on multiple occasions- information including, but not limited to, mental illness and unemployment checks.
