Pros
Honesty (ask for it, and be ready), Mentorship, Leadership, Respect, Family and Friendship, Values. Mr. Markham echoed my Pastor’s teaching: debt is your enemy; and cash is king. Mr. Markham never prevented me from seeking my dreams and ambitions- in fact, he encouraged them. Not everyone is meant to be a hand or foot; but we all have a place in the body. Mr. Markham is someone I learned to appreciate more over the years, as I learn to apply the valuable insights he others have given me- a black male, combat war veteran. Mr. Markham was there for me when I fatally became sick- even died (as a doctor and nurse informed me): Mr. Markham had work for me- he gave me work! He didn’t owe me anything. He was there, as a real man and leader who cares about EVERYONE (no matter what the person looks like, or their demographic background). I was able to achieve my web development coding certification because of Mr. Markham’s assistance with my schedule and health. Although, I decided to leave (health was really bad at the time), I was not asked to leave, nor was I forced to leave. I want the best for Mr. Markham and MIP; and at that time, I was still fighting for my life. I eventually bounced back up! When I thought I could not remain in the industry, GOD healed me; and made a way! Mr. Markham helped me obtain two Federal jobs (one being Federal Law Enforcement, a long standing dream). I am still pursuing a career change into Technology (that’s where I fit better); and a certain series of interviews went well because I learn to apply the self-evaluation assessments Mr. Markham taught- you got to have a vision and your goals written down; and be willing to make the necessary sacrifices- not family; but there will be times you will have to focus solely on what only you can do for yourself and family, in order to achieve the desired outcome.
Cons
None, save the haters: evaluate those being negative before you make your final assessment of any company.
