High turnover rate, most of employees get cheap 10-year-old tiny outdated monitors knowing company makes over 300M it is a real shame! How is one supposed to work efficiently? Staff above you have the feeling not wanting to guide or teach you because they know associates are often terminated within 1 year, and why should they. I would not. You expect to work 60 hrs a week during the busy season without any overtime pay. It is written in their contract with un-clear language purposely, if you stay under 1 year with Marks Paneth you are exempt employee. Which means they will not pay you a penny for overtime. That language even the HR could not explain during the hiring process. As soon as you are hired, you are a marketing tool for them. They will give you a coffee mug, a rain jacket, towel, backpack with their name on it. But behind it all associates are treated as candy, that they can toss you at any time they want but preferably they will do it under a year. Company has quite few that have dietary restrictions either kosher or halal and I think it would be nice if employees can either get a halal and kosher microwave out of respect to employees that cannot eat in regular kitchen or heat their meals they bring from home.
