Pros
The only positive aspect of my experience was the other interns. We supported each other through an environment that otherwise felt extremely unhealthy and disrespectful. Without them, the experience would have been unbearable.
Cons
This company’s internship program is exploitative, plain and simple. Interns are treated as cheap, disposable labor, rotated every few months. There is an obvious divide between interns and higher-ups: if you’re in a junior position, you’re treated with zero respect.
Interns are expected to do tasks far outside their job scope, including serving lunch and cleaning up after full-time staff. Micromanagement is extreme, you’re constantly monitored, even for basic things like going to the bathroom. There’s no trust, no respect, and no real mentorship. It’s an inhumane and degrading environment. There’s no transparency, no support, and no professional growth. It’s all about squeezing as much work as possible out of interns and then replacing them with the next batch.
