Pros
Mathrithms made me feel valued in an industry where interns are often taken in and spit out without pay, respect or any form of training. I was offered a stipend, constant support and guidance, and my mentors were extremely patient with my work even if I hit a snag and could not progress past an issue for a couple days at a time! Additionally, they provided me with a Letter of Recommendation without me even mentioning it once! I truly respect the company and am a firm believer of the fact that respect goes both ways, and I believe that this a small way to pay it back. If you're considering working here, I think you'll be happy with your choice!
Cons
The only cons I can think of are:
- The company was at a nascent stage in 2021 so I was tasked to work on a project alone.
- Occasional discussions with design team over frontend developmental outcomes that didn't seem exactly fruitful
